State BJP’s Mouthpiece ‘Asomiya BJP Barta’ Unveiled
Guwahati, 1st June 2025: Today, the official mouthpiece of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Assam Pradesh — Asomiya BJP Barta — was formally unveiled at the State Headquarters , Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan.
The publication was officially released by the State Chief Spokesperson of the party, Manoj Baruah, in the presence of a significant number of party karyakartas.
The event was anchored by BJP Assam Pradesh Media Panelist Dr. Devajit Mahanta, who is also a member of the editorial committee of Asomiya BJP Barta. While releasing the publication, Baruah stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party is a unique political organization founded on the values of a thousand-year -old cultural heritage. The mouthpiece reflects not only the welfare-oriented initiatives of the Central Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the State Government led by Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, but also the party’s ideology, vision, and principles.
Baruah further mentioned that the publication aims to intellectually enrich lakhs of BJP karyakartas across Assam.
Notably, from this issue onwards, the biographies of each of the former State Presidents who have guided the long journey of the party in Assam will be featured in successive editions. The current issue includes the biography of Colonel Umanath Sharma, the founding President of BJP Assam Pradesh.
The unveiling ceremony saw the participation of a large number of party workers, including BJP Assam Pradesh Media Panelist Brojen Mahanta .
